Toyota Previa GR-F1 Concept

Personal Project | Agora Pode Design Contest February 2025

The Project

This concept was developed for the Agora Pode “Grand Prix + Van + Future” design contest, where it secured 5th place globally. The project uses the mid-engine layout of a Toyota Previa as a base for a high-performance vehicle built with Formula 1 technology.

The Solution

The vehicle is engineered around a central carbon-fiber monocoque with a mid-mounted powertrain. The aerodynamic setup includes a massive rear wing, a front wing assembly, F1-style sidepods, and a large-scale rear diffuser to manage airflow and downforce.

Instead of traditional doors, access to the cockpit is handled via a lifting canopy system. The design transforms the “one-box” van silhouette into a track-focused machine while utilizing a 1300hp hybrid V10 powertrain concept.

Key Features

  • Competition Success: 5th place in the Agora Pode global design challenge (February 2025).
  • Full Aero Package: Integration of a high-mounted rear wing, front wing, sidepods, and a rear diffuser.
  • 1300hp Powertrain: A conceptual hybrid system combining a V10 engine with F1-derived electric energy recovery system.
  • Central Seating: A single-seat configuration located in the center of a carbon-fiber chassis.
